PEACE on earth, GOOD WILL to all!

Merry Christmas, Groovey Kwansa,
Happy Chanukah, Great Ramadan,
Wonderful Solstice, or whatever
vibrates your make-beliefs.

but really, Walt Disney's religion
is good enough for me.
or "bless us every one"
like the dickens kid said.

guess the point is random gifts
of human kindness and senseless
acts of beauty
like the bumper stickers suggest.

a few days of peace and sharing
except on the highways in traffic.
then back to the same oh, same oh
until next year.

when will we ever learn that
"it's a small world after all".

children and dogs rewrite her poetry now

that bastard castro
changed the poem of her life
when they fled his new regime.

havana watched silently
as too many poems changed.
poems were altered or

harshly ended for many
in the name of liberation
as other poems that remained

lost virginity, all earthly posessions,
human dignity and
fleeting fragile freedoms.

decades later
her poems change when
children and dogs interrupt.

in special and not
so special ways they change
and cause her to change new versings.

unlike that early poem of
her gypsy life and journey
she can now be amused.

OUR FREAKING OCEANS

Ok, Ok, Ok. We've all been hearing about the doom and gloom that's chasing our planet. And yes, the doom and gloom is perpetuated by ALL OF US.

All the clowns dumping yacht garbage and human waste, All the corporations dumping toxic this and that, All the rest of us letting things get into sewage and runoff that eventually ends up in the oceans - WE ARE ALL CONTRIBUTING to the demise of this planets lifeblood - THE FREAKING OCEANS!

We've all heard about the "dead spots" in the oceans where trash and putrid zones allow NO LIVING THING TO PERPETUATE.

The latest projection of total OCEAN FAILURE is now touted to be 2048. I'll be 98 that year. I'd like to spend some time in the final years of this thing called life romping around on the ocean from time to time so this is NOT FREAKING ACCEPTABLE.

Guess I'll go check out the options and see how I can contribute to the turn-around if indeed IT IS AT ALL POSSIBLE.

"One drop moves an ocean" is my personal motto that appears on my cell phone when it's turned on. I used it on my personal cards in the past as well. time to put my effort into proving it true.

Over and out,
